Becoming a Member

• Contact the Upper Halfmoon Water Company and request service.
• Submit payment of $650 for membership fee
• Submit beginning meter reading

• Contact the Upper Halfmoon Water Company and request service.
• An assessment will be conducted to detemine connection options
• The customer is responsible for the line cost of the service line connecting the home to the nearest water main.
• Service lines must be approved by the UHWC before installation can begin.
• A $1,000 connection fee will be assessed.
• A $650 membership fee will be assessed.
• Technical specifications of connecting will be provided by UHWC
• A service line exceeding 300 feet in length, may require the installation of a meter pit rather than an inside meter.

The UHWC will provide water to any home that is capable of connecting to the system at the cost of the member. Connection is contingent upon the connection meeting technical specifications of the UHWC.
